What is the Rushford Days Scholarship Program?

Being selected for the Rushford Days Queen and Ambassador Program means more than just earning a scholarship — it’s a chance to shine. These outstanding students are recognized for their character, leadership, and heart for the community. While the financial support helps with college classes and essentials, the true reward is the opportunity to grow, give back, and create lasting memories as part of something bigger.

We will award up to three $1,000 Queen Scholarships to form our Queens Court, supported by a dedicated team of Ambassadors. Ambassadors play a key role through community service and leadership, and while they are not automatically selected as future Queens, they may apply for that opportunity in future years. We also offer three Princess positions for enthusiastic 4th–5th graders who aspire to be leaders and make a difference in our community. Princess Application Here!

What responsibilities and activities are mandatory to be a part of the program?

Participants in the Rushford Days Royalty & Ambassador Program are expected to be active, positive representatives of our community. Mandatory responsibilities and activities include:

• Apply First!  Fill out the application here!

• Parent commitment to parade help in driving to and from the parades.

• Participating in Rushford Days Events, including Queens Tea and the Rushford Days Parade

• Representing Rushford at a set number of community events and parades throughout the year

• Maintaining respectful behavior and communication as a role model for younger participants

Additional optional opportunities may be offered throughout the year for further involvement and leadership development.

When is the announcement and crowning of the 2025 Rushford Days Royalty?

The 2025 Rushford Days Royalty Announcement & Crowning is happening Saturday, June 29th, and you won’t want to miss this special moment as we welcome our next round of incredible young leaders! The excitement kicks off on Friday, June 28th, with interviews that are part of the official selection process. Each candidate will meet with a panel of three local business owners who will serve as our judges, helping choose the individuals who will represent Rushford in the year ahead. To celebrate their journey, we’ll gather for a Queens Tea reception on Sunday, June 29th, complete with sweet treats, soft drinks, and announcement of our new Queens Court.

What else should I know?

Think of it as your unofficial debut — once you’re part of the Royalty & Ambassador crew, you’ll be front and center during Rushford Days and beyond! People will be excited to meet you, snap photos, and see you representing our amazing community. And yes — parents and guardians will be involved, from parade help to behind-the-scenes support, they’ll be part of the journey right alongside you!

Sponsorship Opportunities:

• $195 Sponsor Fee: This fee covers the essentials for preparing the girls for their interviews, their Rushford Days attire, crowns, and sashes. It’s a valuable investment in their growth and success!

• $200+ Sponsorship: Businesses donating $200 or more will also be recognized on the Rushford Days Float during the parade — a great way to show your support while getting noticed!
